CAMP FACILITIES: The Pittsburgh Indoor Sports Arena (PISA) is a 98,000 sq ft indoor sports and entertainment arena that houses 3 fields of Revolution Field Turf. PISA sits on 14 acres of the beautiful Deer Creek campus just 15 minutes north of Downtown Pittsburgh. PISA holds year round leagues, practices, camps and programs as well as utilizes our outdoor campus for many of our Sports Adventure Summer Camp activities.

CAMP FACILITIES: Our camper living facilities are beautiful modern cabins, all of which have wood flooring, windows, air-conditioning and ceiling fans. Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Pocono Mountains in Wayne County, PA, Camp Westmont is situated on 400 acres of gently rolling hills with a private 100-acre lake. Westmont provides a fun-filled summer of varied activities for campers ages 6 through 16. Westmont is a co-ed camp with two very distinct campuses – boys on Boys Side and girls on Girls Side. All of our activities are on-site so Westmont’s campers do not need to travel off property to enjoy their daily activities. CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Leadership is the backbone to our program. To us, Leadership looks different for everyone. Throughout every aspect of our program, campers and staff develop lifelong friends, indelible memories, and tangible skills. We grow leaders each summer who make lasting impacts on their communities, families, and the world.

Two aspects of our program that specifically are designed for intentional communication, empowered decision making, and relationship building include Crew and Group. Crew is the daily "chores" group that every camper participates in. This is anything from cooking breakfast, to cleaning the stalls and feeding the horses, to taking out the trash and recycling around camp. We do hard work, and then we get to play! Group is our evening program that is defined as "the part of Longacre that makes us unique". This is an intentionally facilitated communication workshop for all of our campers and staff. This is where we use communication tools and skills to better understand ourselves, others, and how we interact with the world.

Longacre Leadership Camp is a residential, co-ed summer camp located in Central Pennsylvania for students aged 8 - 18. We are located on a 114 acre farm 40 minutes north of Harrisburg and will be enjoying our 44th summer this year. Position dates are from June 14th - August 15th 2018.

We hire camp counselors, AKA Big Kids aged 21 and over who are passionate about working with young people and who are committed to building a community. CAMP FACILITIES: Mt. Gilead has 16 buildings available for overnight lodging. Ranging from full sized lodges to small 8 person cabins, options are available for any sized group. Whether it’s a family ski weekend at Camelback Ski Mountain, group retreat or a staff getaway; we keep our rental prices affordable so everyone can afford a visit to the Poconos.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Mt. Gilead offers an atmosphere of relaxed fun and fellowship and the opportunity to experience God right in the middle of his creation without the distractions of technology and everyday life.

Campers are grouped in divisions according to their completed grade. Girls spend time interacting with their cabin group, divisional group, and the entire camp population at different times throughout the week.
Adventurers are completing grades 2 through 4.

Searchers are completing grades 5 and 6.

Observers are completing grades 7 and 8

Conquerors have completed grades 9 through 11.

A week at Mt. Gilead starts on Sunday and ends on Saturday, for campers staying more than 1 week, we offer the option of a stay over program. This program allows campers to stay at camp over the weekend where they will be cared for by our weekend staff. Parents are welcome to visit during this time and can take their camper out of camp for several hours (to eat, do laundry, etc.).

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Young ladies in 9th, 10th, or 11th grade are eligible to enroll in CILT I. During the school year, CILTs are working on requirements, reading books, developing a resource file, and preparing for the busy summer ahead. Once CILTs arrive at camp, they will prepare to embark on a trip that will change their lives forever. CILTs, their instructor, and other qualified personnel will leave for a week long outdoor living experience, typically backpacking and/or canoeing.

CILTs will experience first hand God’s awesome creation and learn important lessons in teamwork and communication. Once the CILTs return to camp their second week of training consists of working with a cabin, leading activities, songfests, service hours, Bible study and CILT class.

CILT II
There is no break! (Who wants one anyway?!) The CILTs are anxious to continue their training and get started on their second year requirements.

CILT II begins as soon as CILT I ends. CILTs are given their second year books to read, their extensive list of requirements, and with their new network of fellow CILTs, instructor and their mentor, they are ready to begin. One of the most unique features of our CILT II program is the use of a mentor. Each CILT chooses a mentor. Someone who will pray with them, guide, encourage, challenge and keep the CILT accountable throughout the year. The mentor and CILT will share thoughts and ideas on Bible Study methods by Rick Warren. Then the summer begins with three weeks of training.

CILT II participants are required to attend our staff training week, otherwise known as Pre-Camp. During this week, CILTs will have the opportunity to see the workings behind camp, as friendships develop, activities are planned, staff is trained and duties are assigned. They will also have the opportunity to earn certifications in Lifeguarding, CPR, First Aid, and AED. The second week of CILT is filled with training in their areas of specialty, Bible study, CILT classes, and camp service hours. Finally, the third week of training arrives when CILTs get to put all their knowledge into practice when they live-in with a cabin for a full week under the supervision of another counselor. Upon successful completion of all the requirements CILTs will have a graduation ceremony and are welcomed onto our staff!

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Camp fee includes 24-hour medical supervision, meals and snacks, American Diabetes Association Camp t-shirt, housing, supervised program activities and most diabetes supplies.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: CIT Program: A CIT candidate must submit an application with two personal references and a medical reference. Space is limited for this position.

The role of a CIT is to assist counselors while working with younger campers. The CIT Program provides training for youth interested in working with kids, specifically as camp counselors. Participants are expected to interact thoughtfully and compassionately with younger campers; to commit to learning more about themselves, camp, and camp procedures; to be team members and to take on responsibility and leadership. CITs also have the opportunity to learn a basic understanding of diabetes and its care.

The primary goal of the CIT Program is to offer a fun and supportive experience that will develop confidence, commitment, and community. The program focuses on helping youth become future leaders by developing communication, teamwork and leadership skills. CITs will leave ready to become camp counselors.

ADA Camp Freedom offers a unique opportunity to teach and learn more about diabetes, diabetes management, and how kids cope diabetes. As a counselor, you will develop skill-building ventures by working as a team with campers-managing their diabetes, medical staff and other counselors in an outdoor recreational environment 24 hours a day.

We hold a comprehensive orientation, training, and supervision — that assists you in preparing for and delivering the best service possible to our campers. The experience our counselors have at Camp Freedom is truly meaningful work and the real chance to make a difference in the lives of kids with diabetes. It is United Methodist affiliated, and open to all Christian denominations. Lodging ranges from luxury private rooms to family-style lodges and cozy cabins, with delicious meals for up to 350-400 guests. The Inn and Lodge have kitchens, lounges, fireplaces. Cabins have lounge/common area and 16-24 beds, mini-fridge and coffeepot/or full kitchen.

Outdoor sports facilities include basketball, volleyball, sand volleyball, baseball/softball, tennis, swimming pool, soccer, archery, shuffleboard, mountainboarding, & an 18 hole disc golf course. It is easy to step back in time while exploring the area's rich history and heritage. Jumonville Glen was the site of George Washington's first battle, and a small museum of artifacts has been preserved from the French and Indian War that followed.

In addition, the state operated an Orphan School on the property after the Civil War. The beautiful campus, 19th century stone buildings, and flagstone walkways reflect the rich past of this mountaintop, and yet still offer exceptional lodging, comfort and modern conveniences. Camp has always been a great way to make new friends, grow in faith, and experience the best fun of the summer with something for everyone to enjoy!

SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
YMCA Camp Soles is more than just a summer camp. We are a home to a lucky few, and home away from home for many more. Our staff members come from various local universities as well as out of state and as far as Australia and Europe. Working at camp can be life changing.

CAMP FACILITIES: We have a private lake with a sandy beach, outdoor pool, 2 gyms, 5 tennis courts, an outdoor basketball court, a soccer field, 2 flying trapezes, 2 living campuses with multiple cabins on each (indoor plumbing in the cabins), a skatepark, an indoor and outdoor climbing wall, a brand new recording studio, and multiple activity buildings and facilities. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Established 27 years ago as a non-traditional summer camp, the original vision for ILC has created one of the best sleep-away summer camps around. We have evolved into a special, positive community that provides campers with the confidence to advance their existing talents, or even take a risk and try something new! Promoting creativity within each camper and throughout the entire community, ii) Empowering individual growth with our elective, personalized scheduling, and iii) Providing a wide-range of activities for all skill levels that are rich with integrity by maintaining top-notch facilities & equipment and employing a talented, hand-selected staff from all over the world.

ILC prides itself on the unique approach we take about the campers’ schedules - based mainly on individualized programming. Each camper can choose what they want to do from a wide variety of activities offered by multiple departments. Each ILC department is managed by an experienced, talented, veteran ILC staff member. Therefore, ILC is more than just a fantastic summer camp, it is a fantastic Circus & Flying Trapeze, Sports, Tennis, Dance & Performing Arts, Magic, Skateboarding, Rollerblading & BMX, Digital Arts, RPG, LARPing, & Rocketry, Fine Arts, Music, Electronic Music & Music Recording, Climbing Wall, Zip-Line, & Adventure Ropes Course, Waterskiing, Wakeboarding, Tubing, & Banana Boating, Sailing, Kayaking & Paddleboating, Lake & Pool Swimming & Water Games, Organic Farming, and Horseback Riding Camp all rolled into one!

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Counselor in Training (CIT) Program. CIT's must be entering 11th grade and must come for at least 4 weeks. They are responsible for helping out in an area of their choice, while still enjoying the benefits that being a camper has to offer.

CAMP FACILITIES: We have 12 cabins with indoor plumbing, outdoor pool, recreation/dining hall, semi-outdoor recreation hall, barn with stage, outdoor amphitheater, fishing ponds, basketball court, and a small farm.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: We are a special needs program with an emphasis on arts programming. We are a family owned, family run camp that has been operating since 1975. Our staff come from the United States as well as many other countries, and receive a thorough training before camp begins. It is our goal to give vacationers a safe, supported opportunity for social interaction and good times.

SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
Eagle Springs is looking for a cook and an RN or LPN for our summer season 2015.  Please call Catherine Hamilton at 570-345-8705.

CAMP FACILITIES: We have 6 cabins with 8 bunk beds and bathroom facilities, 4 cabins with just beds, an outdoor pool, 2 meeting rooms with sound and projection, a dining hall and 2 smaller kitchen facilities, 2 camp fire sites, a gym, a day use activity center, and a pond

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Pioneer Camp (ages 7-9)
Adventure Camp (ages 10-12)
Quest Camp (13-15)
Outdoor Xtreme Camp is a boys only program (ages 10-15) includes outdoor and marksmanship skills
Horsemanship Camp is a girls only program (ages 10-15)
STACC is a counselor training program (ages 15-17)

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): Father/Daughter is offered in the Fall
Father/Son is offered in the Spring

SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
We hire close to 25 college students each summer to serve as our Support Staff. This team consists of guides (counselors), activity instructors, coaches, and coordinators. Each role has specific functions and responsibilities, which you can learn more about by checking out our website.

CAMP FACILITIES: There are many opportunities for teenagers to enjoy social, recreational, and pre-vocational opportunities.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Staff are trained in special education. Carousel Farm has been family owned and directed for the past 34 years!
